Aim down the left side of the fairway and avoid the large fairway bunker on the right side. The green slopes from left to right so try to keep your approach shot to the right of the hole leaving yourself an uphill putt. |
A difficult but picturesque driving hole, with water guarding the entire left side of the fairway and an annoying fairway bunker on the right. The widest and smartest area to lay-up to is between the 120 and 130 yard area. The green falls away on the left and makes it difficult to get the ball close to a left pin placement. |
A straight forward Par 3 that seems to produce many high numbers because of the two tiered green. Errant shots missed right will have a watery ending, but missing the green left makes for a very difficult up and down with the green sloping away from you. When the pin is at the front ensure you are not long or left. |
The place to approach this green is from the right side of the fairway. Consider laying back short of the fairway bunker, although this will leave you with a slight uphill lie. Again, ensure your approach is below the hole and avoid the green side bunkers left of the green. |
Aim down the right side of the fairway, and try to leave yourself 140 yards as this is the widest part of the fairway and leaves you far enough back to give you a shot over the trees, should you miss it. Longer hitters should hit three wood off the tee. The green is slightly elevated and slopes from left to right, the tendency is to miss it left because the right side of the green can not be seen. |
Although long, smart players will miss this green short and right, and be left with a routine up and down for par. The green slopes from back to front so it is possible to hit a long iron or fairway wood into the right to left prevailing wind and have it hold the green. |
The first of two long Par4's that often play into the prevailing wind. Longer hitters should be careful of the water that cuts in at the 130 yard mark. Water also cuts in about 15 yards short and right of the green. Most players should aim at the middle of the green regardless of the pin location |
A menacing Par 4 that often plays longer than the yardage . If you don't drive it long and straight consider turning this into a Par 5 to avoid a big number. The fairway is widest between the 210-230 yard area, and it is crucial to hit your approach from the fairway so don't try to get too much out of your drive. The green is undulating with a sucker back pin location. |
An easy par 5 with a generous fairway. The key is not to get too greedy with your drive. Aim about 5-10 yards right of the right edge of the fairway bunker for your tee shot. A deep bunker guards the front of the green, which should be avoided at all costs. There is a lot of room right of the green and missing your fairway wood or long iron approach will give you the best chance to make an up an down for birdie or Par. |
Aim at the fairway bunker on the left and hit a little cut shot off the tee. It's better to be on the left side of the fairway to ensure you don't get blocked by the trees on the corner of the dogleg. This will leave you longer approach shot but is the smart play off the tee. the green is large with large with a large ridge running across the center of the green, so make sure your approach is on the right portion of the green. |
Water guards both sides of the fairway so you must drive it straight. For most players this hole is a lay-up hole anyway so consider hitting 3-wood off the tee which will give you a bigger landing area. Hit a middle iron to lay-up and try to keep your approach into the green left of the hole. |
it is vital you keep the ball below the hole, and preferably to the right, although water guards the green right which is not visible from the tee. Anything left and/or long will require some type of amazing recovery for Par. |
A difficult driving hole where you must ensure you're on the right side of the fairway so as not to get blocked by the trees on the left side. The hole tends to play uphill and with a back pin location hit two or three more clubs than usual. Avoid missing the green right when the pin is at the front |
The only place you can't make par from is from the left swamp, so ensure your drive is aimed down the right side of the fairway, which is also the best place to hit your approach from. Aim at the right side of the green as a deep bunker guards the front left of the green. |
A short hole where longer hitters can fly the fairway bunker on the left, but can also reach the water, which cuts into the driving area of longer hitters. Hit a 3 wood or long iron of the tee as it's important to play your approach from the fairway because although the green is large , the shot is intimidating. Do not shoot at the sucker-pack pin. |
A relatively straight-forward par 3, with a large green. Ensure you keep your tee shot out of the bunkers on the right side of the hole. Anything left and short is a simple up and down for par. |
Longer hitters can try to cut the corner of this dogleg right hole, although the smart play is a 3 wood aimed 10-15 yards left of the corner. Make sure your tee shot is center or on the left side of the fairway as shorter hitters can get blocked by trees on the right. Again the green slopes from back to front so keep your approach shot below the hole. |
Ensure your tee shot is positioned on the right side of the fairway as anything left will cause you problems with your lay-up shot. Only the longest of hitters should attempt to fly the bunker guarding the dogleg. The green is undulating and it takes a great shot to get it close to any pin location. |
